Gospelway is a confessional Baptist church about 30 minutes north of Charlotte in China Grove NC, that unapologetically centers on the gospel.
Our message each week is simple "Christ for you."
Before the Service
9:45 – 10:15 AM
Students and children ages 6–18 are invited to join our Catechism Classes. During this time, we teach and discuss foundational Christian truths using the Orthodox Catechism, helping young people grow in their understanding of Scripture and the faith once delivered to the saints.
10:00 – 10:30 AM
Join us for fresh-brewed coffee and conversation. This is a relaxed time to connect, greet one another, and enjoy fellowship as we prepare our hearts for worship together.
During The Service

We believe the most important moments in the Christian life happen when God gathers His people together. Every Lord’s Day we hear God’s Word, receive His promises, and respond together in faith.
Our services last about 90 minutes and are shaped by a simple biblical pattern: God speaks, and we respond.
We sing songs rich in the gospel, pray together, confess our faith, and listen to preaching that walks through books of the Bible. On the first and third Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper as a visible word of Christ’s finished work for us.

Evening Worship
Sundays at 5:00 PM
Join us each Sunday evening at 5:00 PM as we gather again for worship.
Please note that we do not hold evening worship on the last Sunday of each month.
During the Week
We also gather throughout the week in various ways.
If you are familiar with Sunday School, our group format will feel similar.
These gatherings provide an opportunity to study Scripture together through a blend of teaching and open discussion. There is space to ask questions, share insights, and encourage one another as we seek to understand and apply God’s Word.
During the Year
Throughout the year, we enjoy church-wide events in addition to men’s, women’s, and youth gatherings. These times provide opportunities for fellowship, encouragement, and growth in Christ across every stage of life.

Sunday Morning Worship
We meet each Sunday at 10:30 AM at
701 Highway 29, China Grove, NC
Across the street from Gary’s BBQ.
We have plenty of off-street parking, and our building is wheelchair accessible.
Evening Worship
Most weeks, we gather again on Sundays at 5:00 PM for a more intimate service of prayer, Scripture reading, and preaching.
Midweek Theology
On most Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, we meet for Midweek Theology, a time of teaching and discussion designed to help us grow deeper in our understanding of God’s Word.
We believe the most important moments in the Christian life happen when God gathers His people together. The Lord’s Day is the centerpiece of our week because it is where we meet with God and with one another around His Word.
Our worship is shaped by a simple biblical pattern: God speaks, and we respond. He calls us into His presence, reminds us of His grace in Christ, teaches us through Scripture, and welcomes us to His Table. In response, we pray, sing, confess our faith, and give thanks. Every part of the service is designed to help you hear the good news of what Christ has done and to respond with faith and joy.
Our services last about 90 minutes. We sing gospel-rich songs, read and preach through books of the Bible, and regularly celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Whether you are exploring Christianity or have followed Christ for many years, our desire is that you would leave encouraged by God’s Word and strengthened by His grace.

We invite children of all ages to worship with us. We believe the gathered service is for the whole family, and we love hearing the joyful sounds of little ones learning to sing, pray, and listen alongside the rest of the church.
If you need a quieter space for newborns or toddlers, we provide a room within earshot of the service so you can still participate while caring for your child.
We also offer age-appropriate classes for school-aged children prior to the Sunday service, helping them grow in their understanding of Scripture and the good news of Christ.
Like many historic Baptists, we are a confessional Baptist church.
That simply means we gladly stand in a long line of Christians who have summarized what the Bible teaches in historic confessions of faith. These summaries do not replace Scripture, but help us clearly state what we believe the Bible says.
Our doctrines and distinctives are not new or unique to us. Our Baptist forefathers understood themselves to be heirs of the Protestant Reformation and its commitment to sola Scriptura—that Scripture alone is our final authority for faith and life.
We are rooted in the historic Christian and Baptistic tradition, holding to the great Reformation truths:
